Photorescue is a totally risk free, smart media recovery solution. Photorescue does not write to your damaged or erased smart media card. Photorescue will show you an accurate and reliable preview of what is recoverable. Photorescue is able to preview and recover photographs on both PC and MAC based operating systems. To download your free evaluation copy, click on the link that is appropriate for your computer system. A dialog box will appear. Click on the "save" option to download and save the program onto your computer.
Double click the file labeled omedina.zip or omedina.sit and it will unzip and self install.
When the unzip wizard has finished double click the file labeled omedina.exe to run your free demo of Photorescue.
Best results are obtained by placing your smart media card in a card reader while the evaluation is conducted. Photorescue may be able to access your flash card if you have it installed in a camera and you have your camera connected to your computer, but you are more likely to be successful if your flash media card is installed in a card reader connected to your computer when you attempt the recovery. Smart Media flash card recovery can be simple or quite complicated depending on how the original problem was created. If you don't see any thumbnails after running the Photorescue demo, don't give up hope. There are many variable that can affect recovery results. If you don't see thumbnails, don't buy Photorescue. It will not recover your photos. Instead please print this form, fill it out, and mail it to me along with your smart media card. I use multiple recovery techniques to recover missing image files and I may still be able to recover your photographs. I do not charge for analysing your smart media card. However, I do ask that you include a check for $5 to cover the cost of return postage. If I am able to recover your photographs the cost will be $24 for cards under 512 megs. Larger cards have an incremental cost of $24 per additional 512 megs.
After running the demo, you will see a folder labeled "Found". Double click the folder to open it. If your smart media card has photographs that are still recoverable, the folder will open to thumbnail images of each of the recoverable photographs. If you don't see any thumbnails, don't spend the money to purchase the fully licensed version of Photorescue. It won't do a better job than the demo version.
